Assistant Accountant

Reporting to Associate Director of Finance, this position works closely with Finance Manager and is responsible for supporting all-round

accounting operations including but not limited to inventory control, account receivable, account payable, wholesale & online sales accounting etc.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Handle Account Receivable, Account Payable, Revenue Report for online and wholesale sales channels
• Administrate accounting system (SUN Accounts) and ensure the synchronization with the ERP platform (Microsoft Business Central)
• Ensure all invoices are properly prepared and distributed out in a timely manner
• Handle all transactions and reports for regional markets, including China, Japan and London 
• Support on Balance Sheet analysis and follow up with relevant parties
• Safekeeping all accounts document and ensure the filling log sheet is being maintained
• Support on both internal and external audit by preparing all necessary documents
• Handle accounting related correspondence with different parties – staff/customers/vendors/sister companies etc. 

Requirements: 

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• Experience in inventory control is a must
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience; experience in the Retail and FMCG industry is advantageous
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, drive, and enthusiasm
• Knowledge of SUN Accounts and Microsoft Business Central is a plus
