People & Culture Assistant
Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a People & Culture Assistant to support our team.

Key Accountabilities
- Facilitate Human Resources (HR) special projects, including:
- In collaboration with HR management, ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and accurate
- Provide support during employee file audits
- Reinforce special employee recognition, reward, motivation, and education programs and activities to develop and encourage good employer/employee relations
- Routinely assist HR management during employee training and orientation programs e.g., create packets, certificates, and any other administrative tasks
- Recruitment assistance in all employment procedures including reference checks, scheduling appointments with respective department managers, background check, pre-screening interviews, and career fairs
- Assist with the administration of Safety Committee tasks assigned to the HR department
- Communicates pertinent information by posting notices on bulletin boards
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and preserving all automated and manual personnel records, in accordance with record retention standards
General Requirements
- Current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction to complete tasks
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and principles required
Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
