Executive Assistant

Business Unit:  The Quail
Location:  Carmel-by-the-Sea

The Quail is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provides professional handling of phones, taking messages, maintaining daily schedule, making travel arrangements, and coordinating special projects on an as needed basis.
  • Establish and maintain filing system to ensure continuous and orderly office function.
  • Support and assist in the writing of policies and procedures, SOP’s as needed.
  • Maintain and coordinate senior management’s schedules
  • Conduct research and compile data to assist management in decision-making
  • Handle special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned

 

General Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative work with business writing experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven problem-solving skills and prior background demonstrating sound business judgment
  • A good knowledge of the hotel business and its inner workings preferred or willingness and ability to learn.

 

 

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00/per hour
