Assistant Automotive Specialist

Unique opportunity for the right candidate to work at a beautiful 10-acre private estate in Carmel, CA

Key Accountabilities

• Assist fleet manager with vehicle inspections, repairs, and general maintenance.
• Provide support in routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake services, tire services, fluid checks, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with diagnosing, repairing, and testing vehicle systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
• Support workshop administration by maintaining service records, scheduling appointments, and managing parts and inventory.
• Participate in ongoing training and comply with company, manufacturer, and industry standards.

General Requirements

• Possess knowledge of auto detailing and able to perform diagnostic and minor mechanical work.
• Demonstrate expertise in both high-end antique and modern vehicles.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an automotive production shop or as a factory-trained mechanic.
• Able to complete tasks with little or no supervision 
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling a physically demanding role.
• Open to receiving and acting on constructive feedback.
• Capable of working in a highly discreet environment.
  
  

This is a temporary, seasonal position (approximately two weeks of employment plus select weekends leading up to events).

Salary: $50.00 per hour
