Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Door Attendant to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

 

  • Work for a highly prestigious hotel in Guest Service team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Greet approaching vehicles, open doors and greets all guests entering into the hotel.
  • Arrange taxi services.
  • Control the hotel parking.

 

Example of Shift

A 7:00-16:00 / B 13:30-22:30

Teamwork

  • Working closely with the parking team.
  • Smoothly guide our guests' cars in/out and stand-by at the front entrance to greet arriving guests, get their car keys, and arrange parking. 

 

Multi-tasking Skills

  • Not only greeting and welcoming guests, you are required to arrange taxi, airport pick-up vehicles as requested. You also need to keep track on traffic information and respond flexibly.

 

Information Management Skills

  • Review the shared information on the web at the beginning of the shift and communicate verbally with your supervisor for special reminders.
  • You need to be aware of traffic information at all times (e.g. where traffic jams occur, where roadblocks are, etc.).

 

English Proficiency

  • You might receive a lot of enquiries about directions every day. As most of our guests are from overseas, you will have many opportunities to communicate in English. 

 

Physical Strength

  • This position requires physical strength as you are always working outdoors.

 

General Requirements

  • Business level in spoken English is preferred. 
  • Work experience as Door Staff in 5-star hotel or equivalent establishments is preferred.
