Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee the hotel’s wages and salary schemes as well as HSH Compensation policies, together with the Compensation & Benefits Manager.
  • Review Hotel’s employee benefits program and HRIS system.
  • Formulate and administer Human Resources Policy and Procedures within the Hotel in coordination with the Director of HR.
  • Monitor hotel’s labor productivity with the support of labor management software.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects e.g. implementation of HRIS systems, talent acquisition systems, talent management systems.
  • Support L&D team to develop yearly L&D plan.
  • Monitor expiration and process renewal of expatriates’ working permits/visas (including dependents) with Bureau of Immigration, including documentation and representation thereof and keeps personnel records such as legal requirements, working permits/visas, passports, accommodation/lease agreements, etc.
  • Conduct Employee Engagement Survey and support to improve work condition with each department.


General Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum 7-year experience in HR Management or hotel operations with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Fluent English speaker and preferably Japanese with great respect for Japanese culture.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Sound knowledge and concept of management practice in hospitality industry.
