Linen Attendant

Key accountabilities

• Ensure proper maintenance and record-keeping of all laundry services.
• Conduct daily inspections on uniforms, linens, and guest laundry to prevent inconsistencies and focus on quality.
• Perform stain removal processes in accordance with established standards.
• Monitor the correct washing cycles, including dry cleaning programs.
• Report any issues related to fabric color changes, texture, quality, or defects in guest/staff laundry to the manager.
• Report all lost and found items from guest/staff laundry to security following proper procedures.
• Assist with machine cleaning at the end of each shift and ensure that soiled laundry is sorted and distributed properly.
• Coordinate with engineering for any machinery or laundry-related issues through HOT SOS.

General requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.
• Pressing skills, dry cleaning skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and machinery, with the ability to provide friendly service to guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment; perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Innovative, naturally organized, and highly detail-oriented.
• Compliance with chemical program training for machine usage is required.
