F&B Attendant internship

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Istanbul
Location:  Istanbul

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will be responsible for activities related to the service in our restaurants. That placement will start in Q1 2025 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting and waiting on all guests.
  • Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standard.
  • Understand and accurately follow the standard of sequence of service.
  • Ensure the consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods.
  • Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
  • Have knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
  • Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
  • Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
  • Maintain a culture in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and core principles of HSH.

 

 

General requirement

 

  • Good English communication (verbal, written)

  • Internship Agreement - mandatory
