Nail Technician, Part-Time

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Part Time Nail Technician to join our Spa team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

• Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Key Accountabilities:

• Acknowledge the confidential nature of the professional relationship with a client and respect each client's right to privacy.
• Responsible for the comfort of all guests while performing treatments.
• Communicate with the Spa Reception Desk staff on a regular basis to ensure smooth scheduling and billing.
• Practice appropriate sanitation for treatment being performed.
• Greet guests in designated waiting area at exact time of scheduled appointment. 
• Suggest other services the guest may enjoy and retail products. 

General Requirements:

• 2 years of nail technician experience, luxury property preferred
• CPR certification, proper licensing and are qualified to perform the specific types of services.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to internal and external clients. 
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
