Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Accountabilities:

• Respond to guest issues and needs immediately.
• Supervise the Housekeeping colleagues so as to attract, retain, and motivate them, while maximizing efficiency and maintaining service levels.
• Coach, counsel and suggest appropriate disciplinary steps.
• Respond to guest issues and needs immediately.
• Effectively "turn" all rooms as expediently as possible.
• Inspect all guest rooms/suites in section daily, releasing rooms only when standards are met.
• Follow-up on any outstanding maintenance issues in guest rooms via maintenance work orders.
• Conduct monthly meetings with room attendants.
• Offer input and assist in annual evaluations for sections' room attendants and house attendants.
• Supervise, motivate and manage people at all levels

General Requirements:

• Must have strong need to be organized clean in all aspects of job
• Past experience in retail or hotel preferred
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Strong in spoken English preferred
