Internships - The Peninsula Beijing

We are excited to offer internship opportunities that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational teams. These placements will 5-6 month in length with the intake commencing July/August 2023 through to February 2024.

Key accountabilities:

Rooms Division internship

• Practical roles (Front Desk or Guest Relation officer)
• Ensure that guests receive prompt, warm, courteous and personal recognition in a proactive manner
• Provides support when required on special projects

F&B Operational internship

• Practical rotation in roles within in F&B such as outlets, banquets etc
• Support the organisation of annual hotel festive events with a key focus on food and beverage
• Provides support when required on special projects

Culinary Operational internship

• Follow recipes for product items accurately
• Responsible for the preparation of mise en place for the station
• Assist in making Recipe Cards and updating them as needed

Human Resources Administrative internship

• One opportunity in Learning and Development to assist in the recruitment and management of trainees and to support the training.
• One opportunity to assist Human Resources Administration and on boarding process.

Finance Administrative internship

• Check F&B invoices, select Officer Check/Ent Check to Cost Control and room charge to Income Auditor.
• Audits the charges to city ledger and credit card companies before forwarding them to the Accounts Receivable section.

General Requirements

• Good English and Chinese communication (verbal, written)
• Chinese Nationality is required
• Pleasant, courteous and fun personality
• Benefits: Dormitory + Meals + Uniform + RMB 2300 per month
