Event Management Manager
Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking an Event Management Manager to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities
- Effectively communicate with group/event organizer, booker, guests, sales team who is in-charge of the event/group and other related department personals and management who will be involved with an execution of events/groups in both written and verbal format.
- Responsible for handle wedding inquiries at bridal fairs or consultations on weekend and social event.
- Conduct and participate weekly Group Resume, BEO (Banquet Event Order) meeting and coordinate necessary arrangements with other departments (i.e., amenities, arrival/departure time, deliveries, special meal requirements).
- Adapt pricing strategies and proposals flexibly based on market trends and competitor activities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to inquiries from existing clients and regular meetings, converting them into qualified opportunities and confirmed business.
- Work closely with the Sales team and Event Management -Sales team to ensure effective lead management and follow-up, minimizing any loss of business opportunities.
- Accurately identify client needs and maximize conversion rates by providing tailored proposals and competitive quotations.
General Requirements
- Basic skill of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) software experience required.
- Understanding of MICE/ Events process and execution. Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Over 3 years experiences in Hotel or Meeting industry
- Excellence Japanese speaking, writing and presentation skills. Good to have reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
