Assistant Manager Room Service
Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Room Service Assistant Manager to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities
- Play the role of Outlet Manager in his/her absence.
- Accountable for the efficient operations of outlet and relevant requests from other departments while ensuring the provision of quality food and beverage service.
- Ensure all staff follows the HACCP standard and participates in the environmental-friendly and 3Rs (reuse, recycle or reduce) initiatives whenever possible.
- Supervisor the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of restaurant operating equipment and other assets.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in: Greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.
- Handle, or relay to manager all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Establish and maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- Understand and accurately follow the standard of sequence of service, pre-service and after-service procedures.
- Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
General Requirements
- Business level in spoken English is preferred.
- Work experience in 5-star hotels or equivalent shop establishments is preferred.
