Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for The Peninsula Paris
- Accountable for the hotel's brand integrity, culture, guest experience, and commercial performance, with a strong focus on sustainable profitability and long-term value creation
- Support JV owner relations, taking accountability for delivering both short-term results and long-term strategic goals
- Champion the Peninsula culture and values, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization
- Lead the Executive Committee to manage, coach, and align them to work towards the vision of the property
- Ensure operational excellence, guest loyalty, and emotional connection through the implementation of Peninsula Service Principles
- Direct the hotel's commercial strategy to maximize revenue and profitability. Ensure market penetration exceeds benchmarks of our competitive sets and the brand is suitably portrayed in the market in Paris and globally
- Fully responsible for the stakeholder engagement plan and networks to ensure the correct government and business support to succeed. Be actively involved in Business Forums, conduct media interviews to promote the hotel, and meet Government and Business leaders in the Community
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to optimize productivity, elevate guest satisfaction, and implement innovations that future-proof the business
- Lead and direct the preparation of the Annual Business Plan, Capital and Operating Budgets in accordance with the CMAM and HMA
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics, identify risks and opportunities and adapting commercial strategies to maintain competitive advantage and business resilience
- Hold the Executive Committee accountable for the business, financial, and people performance of their respective divisions
- Be fully in charge of the hotel in any emergency or crisis situation to protect the brand, people, and asset
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing a world-class luxurious hotel
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation capability
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team within a union environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Fluency in French and English required
