The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor.

Key accountabilities :  

 

 

  • Handle guest (individual or group) check-in and check-out formalities, in compliance with the policies and procedures in force within the establishment, ensuring an exemplary quality of welcome and attentiveness and striving to provide the most appropriate solution.
  • Supervise check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations in line with Peninsula standards.
  • Be fully available to provide customers with all information and enquiries in a courteous, professional and efficient manner.
  • Manage room occupancy planning, bill collection and deferred services, as well as the efficient management of room reservations and billing.
  • Master the systems/software required for the job (OnePMS, HotSOS, Concierge Organizer, Nepting, Penchat, Payzen, Saflok etc.).
  • Respond to customer inquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, informing the Service Manager/Director.
  • Actively participate in the Upsell program and provide upsell opportunities to the reception team.
  • Ensure good inter- and intra-departmental communication.
  • Supervise, train and motivate the reception team to provide excellent service.
  • Carry out and ensure the effective management of the cash float to maintain financial integrity.

 

 

Profile required :

 

  • Good interpersonal skills,
  • Demonstrate rigor and organization in their work,
  • Fluency in English and French,
  • Proficiency in the use of office automation tools, including Opera software,
  • Have similar experience in a hotel of the same category,
  • Hotel school diploma / BTS / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
