Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is the strategic leader that will play a role in driving our brand and digital marketing-related activities, communications and creating content for our newly renovated property. This position will uplift our brand equity, drive brand awareness, support consideration and bookings for rooms, restaurants & F&B outlets, spa, and events while delivering high-impact outcomes with key audiences.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) for creation and   development of all brand and digital marketing assets and collaterals following our global brand standards and guidelines.  
  • Manage and coordinate photo shoots and all content management, including managing monthly calendars for content creation, writing briefs and schedules for photo and video shoots.  
  • Develop content and visual assets for the hotel, including photos and filming videos and reels on a professional camera for social media.
  • Formulate high-quality written and visual content on our digital channels, monitor and engage with followers on our social accounts, plan and create social media campaigns. 
  • Maintain and update daily changes for both content and images to the hotel website using HTML on Sitecore following company processes.
  • Assist with website ADA projects and to ensure content uploaded to website adheres to web accessibility guidelines shared by Head Office to ensure WCAG AA 2.1 standards are maintained.
  • Create website content and assist with on-page, local and technical SEO on the website.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital, social, PR and marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Assist in implementing brand partnerships while collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute promotional and events marketing calendars.
  • Create a full range of compelling brand marketing assets including media kits, press releases, articles, media statements, selected executive communications, media Q&As and briefing documents to maintain proper external communication protocols and templates.  

 

General Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Marketing or related field.
  • Must have at least 8 years proven working experience in a marketing field.
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, LightRoom, HTML and InDesign.
  • Demonstrated experience with CMS tools, CRM tools, email platforms and databases.
  • Experience with on-page, local and technical SEO. Understanding of PPC, display, paid social and metasearch campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Photography and videography experience strongly preferred; please share your website or portfolio in your cover letter.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, high level of commitment and the ability to complete tasks according to tight timelines.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills, attention to detail and able to prioritize work tasks in an effective manner.
