Overview of the role
We are looking for a skilled culinary professional who will be responsible in supporting the Banquet Kitchen Team in ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in all kitchens assigned him/her by their supervisor.
- To prepare and ensure all Kitchen Mis en Place is according to production plan.
- Prevent food spoilage through daily checks and ensures that all incoming and outgoing food items are up to agreed standards.
- Actively participates in all scheduled training and hotel activities
- Ensure physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in adherence to HACCP.
General Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years experience as Chef de Partie in a 5 star Hotel or reputable restaurant
- Basic Culinary education
- Extensive knowledge of food and ingredients with a high level of creativity.
- Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence to guide a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and willing to work in a dynamic workplace
