Bartender
Overview of the role
Seeking a highly personable, passionate and committed individual for a Barman position whose main focus would to be the beverage operations of The Gallery Club Lounge and the guest experience of VIPs.
Key Accountabilities
- Always ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests
- Handle, or relay to Club Floor Supervisors and Club Manager all guest and internal customer feedback, and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
- Establish and maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
- Conduct regular trainings to employees on preparation, service, and menu pairing related to the beverage menu
- Ensure the highest level of Health and Safety and Hygiene are maintained, reporting employee and guest accidents, and responding properly to any hotel emergency
General Requirements
- BS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or similar
- Quick thinker, proactive, personable and eloquent
- One year experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably as a host or waiter is also an advantage
- Hard worker, committed and willing to go the extra mile
