Accounts Payable Analyst

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Manila
Location:  Manila (Makati City)

Overview of the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and paid on time. You will play a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting financial accuracy, and contributing to efficient cash flow management.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way matching).
  • Prepare and schedule payments via checks, bank transfers, or other methods.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries or disputes.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within terms. 

 

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Familiarity with Sun System and BirchStreet
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
