Rooms Coordinator
Overview of the role
We are Seeking a strong willed and passionate Rooms Coordinator who will be responsible in being the main contact for the room status, to communicate between the departments (Housekeeping, Front Office, and Room Service) for a complete room set up to ensure a smooth and efficient arrival for all guests.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the inventory of the day of arrival.
- Prioritize and pre-register the rooms depending on the arrival times of guests to ensure all guests can be accommodated to their rooms on arrival
- Be the main point of contact to coordinate the rooms status between all departments - Coordinate room amenities through Room Service, special set up with Housekeeping and ensure a timely delivery in the room.
- Reviews and studies all guest’s preferences, special arrangements and other room requirements based on the guest’s history and past stays.
- On the day, monitors all departures, express checkouts, no shows, pre-registered guests, and early arrivals.
General Requirements:
- Graduate of a four year course
- Work experience of at least two years in Front Desk or Guest Relations related role
- Highly committed, passionate and able to work in different shifts
- Possesses foresight, excellent analytical ability and good decision making skills
- Eloquent, personable and highly engaging in serving guests
