Night Public Area Supervisor

This role is responsible to oversee and manage the night operations of public area attendants, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas in the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests during overnight hours. It will provide supervision, leadership, direction, drafting cleaning schedule and support to all night public areas attendants to develop them into a highly motivated team who deliver high standards of service in all areas.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the cleanliness, fresh floral arrangements, landscape, and aesthetic maintenance of the hotel's public areas (including Residences) and implement the department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulations, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure staff adhere to the grooming standards and are allocated in public areas, as per forecasted events. Must lead the team with open communications, daily briefings, debriefings, and weekly BEO meetings.
- Ensure public area attendants are always trained on standards, greetings etiquettes, policies, especially lost and found. Control and report public area missing items like face towels, trays, etc.
- Have good eye for detail for public area cleaning for the hotel and residences. Oversee and manage the contracted cleaning services daily. Follow up on right deep cleaning tasks. Control and maintain public area logbook for necessary follows ups and handovers. Ensure safe work practices in liaison with the engineering team.
- Liaise with day shifts supervisor, Assistant Back of House Manager to ensure all areas are always immaculate.
- Conduct and manage monthly inventory of chemicals, machines, cleaning supplies, maintenace, and controls store of the public area supplies.
General requirements
- Previous experience within the housekeeping department and supervising a team in a luxury hotel for a minimum of 3 years.
- Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service and hygiene standards.
- Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
- This position requires the fulfilment of night shift duties based on the operational needs of the business. The ability and willingness to work during these hours is a necessary condition of employment.
