Purchasing Supervisor

Key accountabilities
- Assisting the Purchasing Manager in purchasing goods and services at optimum prices consistent with their requested quality on a timely basis.
- Follow up daily orders.
- Assists all departments in establishing Purchase Specifications.
- Assisting Purchasing Manager to find new suppliers.
- Ensures compliance with the Group’s purchasing policies and procedures.
- Obtains samples and prices quotations for the users from independent suppliers.
- Ascertains that the prices are secured by the purchasing staff are competitive.
General requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in 5 star hotel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing, flexible, detail oriented, strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of food and beverage purchasing and related specifications.
- Ability to manage a large supplier base.
