Purchasing Supervisor

Key accountabilities

 

  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager in purchasing goods and services at optimum prices consistent with their requested quality on a timely basis.
  • Follow up daily orders.
  • Assists all departments in establishing Purchase Specifications.
  • Assisting Purchasing Manager to find new suppliers.
  • Ensures compliance with the Group’s purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Obtains samples and prices quotations for the users from independent suppliers.
  • Ascertains that the prices are secured by the purchasing staff are competitive.

 

General requirements

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in 5 star hotel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Outgoing, flexible, detail oriented, strong organizational and negotiation skills.  
  • Detailed knowledge of food and beverage purchasing and related specifications.
  • Ability to manage a large supplier base.
