Public Area Attendant

Key Accountabilities 

 

  • Ensure the immaculate upkeep and the resulting favourable first impression in Public Areas and toilets.

  • Makes routine checks of all hotel public areas, including front entrance to ensure the cleanliness and neatness at all times. 

  • Provides discreet and courteous service in designated area and offers help to guests if necessary.

  • Responsible for the proper upkeep of supply baskets, supply cabinets and store rooms.

  • Informs Public Area Supervisor of any reoccurring problems, missing ,broken ,stained or burnt items in the public areas, corridors and back landings.

  • Ensure efficient operation of the Housekeeping department.

  • Forwards any lost and found items to Housekeeping office.

 

General requirements

 

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in a Luxury Hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.

  • Knowledge of using cleaning tools, chemicals, machinery and the ability to provide friendly services to guests.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to complete assignments independently, to take instructions from supervisors, and to exercise proper problem-solving skills.

  • Innovative and a natural organiser, highly detailed and able to engage with guests.

  • Turkish communication proficiency, and English as a secondary language is preferred.
