Key accountabilities

 

  • Organizes and coordinates the housekeeping operations in a timely and structured manner.

  • Manages routine correspondence including lost & found inquiries and internal communications.

  • Reviews and reconciles the monthly consumption reports provided by the storeroom and ensures accurate stock coordination with the relevant departments.

  • Handles material requests, tracks procurement processes, and maintains accurate records.

  • Collaborates with all departments to address and resolve guest-related requests.

  • Manages guest and staff complaints professionally by ensuring fast communication with the Housekeeping Management.

  • Actively participates in departmental meetings and training sessions in alignment with The Peninsula Istanbul’s core principles.

  • Complies with all emergency procedures and safety regulations, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Management.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills, working well under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Shows flexibility, a guest-oriented mindset, and the ability to understand and meet high operational expectations.

  • Acts as a proactive communicator with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

  • Displays previous experience in team coordination with strong leadership and coaching capabilities.

  • Maintains effective communication with both the Housekeeping department and other related functions.

 

General requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.

  • Proficient in both English and Turkish, with excellent communication skills.

  • High sense of responsibility, strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong commitment to service excellence.
