Key accountabilities

 

  • Deliver guest room amenities with a friendly, discreet, and unobtrusive service in line with The Peninsula standards.
  • Carry out pre-service and after-service procedures as required.
  • Accurately follow the sequence of service standards.
  • Prepare service stations prior to service, ensuring alignment with departmental checklists.
  • Ensure all chinaware, glassware, silverware, and related service items are clean, polished, damage-free, and ready for use.
  • Deliver all food and beverage amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner while maintaining cleanliness of all areas.
  • Keep service stations and floor pantries clean and free of soiled items throughout the service period.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of amenity equipment, napkins, and related service materials.
  • Guarantee consistency in the delivery and presentation of amenities in accordance with brand standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all food and beverage amenities, their preparation methods, and service requirements.
  • Confidently answer guest questions regarding menu items and amenities.
  • Ensure correct handling and usage of food and beverage items, tools, and service equipment.
  • Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings and trainings.

 

General requirements

 

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or food & beverage service.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest service etiquette.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive, guest-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in English and Turkish is required; additional languages are an advantage.
