Key accountabilities

 

  • Process all necessary controls, inputs, and filing related to Revenue Auditing, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable.
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure that all financial reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) accurately reflect the true picture of income and expenses by following appropriate controls.
  • Monitor local tax regulations and inform Financial Leaders of necessary changes to be implemented.
  • Oversee tax processes such as VAT, Withholding Tax, Social Security (SGK), Diplomatic Exemptions, Tourism Payments, and ensure timely payments are made.
  • Assist the Assistant Finance Director in the month-end process, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participate in any tasks necessary to achieve the highest level of compliance and efficiency in objectives.
  • Fully utilize systems to automate tasks and ensure that transactions are as smooth and seamless as possible.


General requirements

 

  • Advanced accounting knowledge, with the ability to manage complex tax and contract environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in balance sheet reconciliation.
  • 3 years of accounting and auditing experience in a high-volume 4 to 5-star hotel environment.
  • Social, flexible, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
