Director of Sales & Marketing

The Peninsula Hong Kong, our flagship hotel, is seeking to hire a world-class sales and marketing leader to drive commercial strategy across this company owned asset.
- Oversees all aspects of the sales and marketing function, including sales generation, revenue, brand marketing, digital and event operations
- Drive S&M effectiveness, performance and initiatives to unlock new and optimise existing revenue streams

Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement defined sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and market share, partnering with COE functional leaders to optimise revenue, digital and branding initiatives
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives
- Evaluate the performance of each sales channel with an emphasis on developing strong partnerships to maximize benefits
- Proactively position and market the property to build long-term, value-based customer relationships and repeat guests across all divisions
- Manage the marketing budget to enable the development of campaigns and promotions that are brand accreditive
- Achieve revenue metrics, guest and employee satisfaction with an emphasis on securing the financial success of the asset for the long-term
- Initiate creative and transgenerational marketing and branding initiatives which are transformative, wide reaching and impactful in-line with shifting guest demographics
- Act as a mentor and coach to the team, instilling a performance and brand led culture that is focused on continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales or similar within the luxury hotel industry
- Proven track record of achieving revenue metrics and driving market share
- Transformative leader with ability to enable S&M evolution
- Leadership experience being a custodian of a luxury brand with a global legacy
- Working knowledge of digital, revenue and branding strategies
- Ability to develop, implement and implement strategic sales and marketing plans
- Suitable qualification in business, marketing, or a related field
