The Peninsula Hong Kong, our flagship hotel, is seeking to hire a Director of Learning & Talent Development to join our vibrant and diverse team.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Maintain and enhance ongoing learning within the organisation
  • To define, create and implement strategies by using core resources to design, implement and evaluate programmes that facilitate professional development, leadership development and continuous learning across the organisation and support the hotel’s operational needs and help staff members perform at their full potential
  • Leads, develops and coaches all levels of employees to realise both personal and organisational goals through a commitment to the strategy and key goals of The Peninsula
  • Promotes a culture of motivated, self-learning across the divisions / departments that upholds the hotel’s core values and drives strategic business objectives
  • Financially responsible for preparing and monitoring all budgets and costs

 

General Requirements:

 

  • Degree Holder in in Business, People & Culture, Education, Organisational Development or a related field
  • At least eight years of related experience with learning concepts and training and development methods and techniques with a minimum of three years’ experience in a leading role pertaining to the training/development initiatives of an organisation
  • Good command of English and Chinese. Excellent oral/written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point
