Room Service - Order Taker (PT)

Working alongside the Room Service Department Head at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Part-Time Order Taker who possesses a strong sense of detail and a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and great “connection” with people
  • Ability to handle a high call volume and multitask with poise
  • Offer professional, friendly phone etiquette to all guest and colleague calls for service

 

 

General Requirements

 

  • Experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment
  • Knowledge of the hotel menus to handle inquiry calls
  • Document all orders accurately with specific guest requests communicated
  • To frequently communicate with the Room Service Manager and to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Room Service Department to stimulate continuous improvement.
