Private Events Sales Manager

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Location:  Beverly Hills

Responsible for direct sales activity and achieving designated revenue goals within assigned markets for Private Events. Individual will be held accountable for developing assigned market and maintaining account base while maximizing revenue.

Key Accountabilities


•    Responsible for direct sales activity and achieving designated revenue goals
•    Ability to prospect on new business for hotel and generate revenue from these efforts.
•    Ability to handle all aspects of account management and development to include sales presentations and site inspections
•    Effectively maintain business relationships with accounts by proper management, client recognition, prospecting, and development of contacts.
•    Once contracted, plan and detail the events with meticulous attention to detail, serving as clients’ expert guide through the planning process, and continue to optimize topline revenues and profitability.

 

 

General Requirements


•    2+ years in a direct event and/or sales management role (preferably in luxury hospitality) with demonstrated skillset in direct selling within the segment.
•    Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
•    Relationship management, diplomacy, and consultative abilities
•    Strong understanding of event operations.
