Overnight Engineer

Working alongside the Director of Engineering at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking an Overnight Engineer who will be responsible for maintining the laundry facility (diagnosing, repairing and PM's) as well as taking daily readings and attending to guest calls as needed.

Key Accountabilities

•    Repair, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
•    Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other hotel systems.
•    Diagnose and resolve equipoment malfunctions, leaks, electrical issues, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.

 

General Requirements

•    5+ years of experience in the maintenance engineering role in hotel setting, preferred luxury hotels or commercial building
•    Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic building maintenance procedures.
•    Ability to work independently and with a team
•    Must be able to work nights and weekends
