Pastry Sous Chef

Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, we are seeking a Pastry Sous Chef to lead and coach a dedicated team and ensure high quality pastry and baking operations are maintained.

Key accountabilities

 

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in charge of the daily operation of the pastry kitchen.
  • Ensure all the pastry products are high quality and this is consistently achieved.
  • Conduct regular communication meetings and briefings with Pastry and bakery personnel.
  • Create enthusiasm for training development amongst subordinates. Motivates and leads by example.
  • Ensure that the hotel cost control policies and procedures are followed.


General requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Pastry Sous Chef in a Five Star Hotel.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
