Internship - F&B Attendant

We are pleased to offer an exciting 6-month opportunity that will allow you to gain hands on industry experience while working alongside our-professional administrative team. The Peninsula Beijing is seeking a F&B Attendant intern to join our Food and Beverage department.

• Internship Package: RMB 2600/month with health insurance
• Enjoy staff residence(dormitory), meals at our staff resaurant, and uniform provided
• Open to candidates from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan (for visa/work permit purposes)

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.
• Provide basic food and beverage service to guests, such as escorting guests to tables, delivering menus, pouring water and beverages, and learning to handle guest special requests and inquiries under supervision.
• Assist in pre-service preparation and post-service closing duties, including setting up tables, replenishing utensils, and cleaning and maintaining work areas to ensure compliance with the hotel's hygiene and operational standards.Develop a strong familiarity with the menu items (including ingredients, cooking methods, and recommended beverages) to accurately describe and recommend dishes to guests, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage items, including igredients and preparation methods.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with the kitchen, runners, and service team to ensure order accuracy, timely food delivery, and maintain an efficient and smooth operation flow.
• Lean and apply luxury hospitality standards, including proper etiquette and service techniques.
