Director of Sales & Business Development

Business Unit:  The Peak Complex
Location:  Hong Kong

We are looking for an influential sales & business development leader to lead and run the sales & business development of the Peak Complex through driving sales and formulate sales strategies and e-commerce solutions. Based in The Peak office, this senior leader will formulate sales & business development strategies and lead the team to success.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Work with internal or external partners to explore and create new sales opportunities through the introduction of packaged offerings and experience that appeal to different target customers in order to boost revenue
  • Develop and implement sales and revenue management, channel and partnership strategies for all sales products including Peak Tram and Sky Terrace, tram chartering and venue rental, by optimising revenue across all channels in order to increase profitability.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales performance, analyse and evaluate results of each channel and sales strategy.
  • Collaborate and share customer feedback with stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction as well as expanding the reach of the tourism attraction.
  • Utilise data to develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies for different customer segments, taking into account factors such as customer behavior, seasonality, and market demand to optimise revenue, profitability, utilisation / demand and customer experience.
  • Monitor, track and report market intelligence on market trends, competitor activities, pricing performance, channel and partnership performance and make recommendations to ensure The Peak is positioned to maximise market potential.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and training as needed to ensure the team achieves targets.


General Requirements:

  • Degree above in Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales and business development with 3 years in similar capacity.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Self-starter, creative, detailed-oriented, goals and results-oriented.
  • Excellent leadership, strong analytical skills, interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
