Building Services Engineer

Working alongside a wonderful team in The Peak Complex, we are seeking a Building Services Engineer to support our Building Services Team.

• Work on a variety of engineering and maintenance projects
• Build leadership experience in team and contractor management

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee fitting out and alteration & addition (A&A) works, with hands-on experience in reforming the premises from retail to F&B
• Manage daily operations and maintenance of company buildings, physical plants, and engineering facilities, ensuring cost-effective performance in line with company policies and regulatory standards
• Manage the building services team, including budgeting, inventory reporting, creating subordinates' work schedules and sustainability data updates
• Oversee all maintenance contractors and develop monthly and annual maintenance programs, while preparing regular engineering, utility, and repair and maintenance (R&M) reports with analytical insights when required
• Handle the renewal of maintenance contracts and prepare quotations for routine repair and maintenance (R&M) services
• Ensure timely renewal of electrical and mechanical system certificates and licenses, in full compliance with Hong Kong’s statutory regulations
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and engineering system breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions
  
  

General Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience with Degree or above in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with proven experience in team supervision and contractor coordination
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Registered Electrical Worker Grade B(0) or above is preferred
