Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business transformation initiatives from concept development through implementation, ensuring successful delivery of agreed business outcomes, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Partner closely with senior leadership and functional heads to identify opportunities that drive business growth, operational excellence and organisational effectiveness.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable transformation plans and oversee execution across multiple functions to support long-term business objectives.
- Assess existing business processes, operating models, organisational structures, and ways of working to identify improvement opportunities and unlock greater commercial and operational performance.
- Design and implement improved business processes, operating models, organisational capabilities, and supporting technology solutions that enable sustainable transformation outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across departments and drive collaboration, alignment, and stakeholder engagement throughout the transformation journey.
- Lead change management initiatives, including communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ways of working.
- Establish and monitor project milestones, performance metrics, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation to ensure transformation initiatives remain on track and deliver measurable business value.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, dashboards, reports, and project updates for leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, outcomes, risks, recommendations, and decision requirements.
- Oversee the integration of new business processes, operating practices, and technologies into day-to-day operations, ensuring sustainable adoption and long-term success.
- Anticipate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, develop mitigation strategies, and implement preventative actions to minimise disruption and maximise delivery effectiveness.
- Maintain appropriate project governance, documentation, and reporting standards to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- 18-month renewable contract with the opportunity to lead a high-profile business transformation agenda and make a visible impact across the organization.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years leading cross-functional business initiatives, strategic projects, or transformation programs.
- Proven track record of delivering business transformation, commercial improvement, growth initiatives, organizational change, or operating model optimization.
- Experience gained in retail, wholesale, FMCG, consumer business, consulting, marketing, sales operations, commercial excellence, or customer transformation environments will be highly regarded.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategic objectives to practical execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across different functions and levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
- Degree holder in any discipline. Professional qualifications in project management, business transformation, strategy, or change management would be an advantage.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business planning/reporting tools.
