Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Director of Corporate Sales and Business Development in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company
• Manages assigned key clients or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet company objectives
Sales and Operations
• Proactive sales role focusing on business expansion, accounts management, profitable sales negotiation
• Regular review with team head on solid action plans, and provide strategic business development plan on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Provides regular results assessments of sales productivity
• Collaborates with Director of Corporate Sales and Business Development to develop sales strategies to improve market share
• Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures
• Liaise with Merchandise Development Team to maximize business potential
• Sales meeting with team members and validate sales strategy, refine tactics, exchange information and plan for the next actions
• Plan and recommend new businesses or markets
Sales Strategy Planning
• Ensure payments are settled by all creditors in a timely manner
• Measure effectiveness of sale channel
• To project a professional and stylish image when representing The Peninsula.
• To maintain a minimum of six business sales calls per day, plus entertain a minimum of twice per week
• To complete weekly sales calls reports and submit weekly call plans
Others
• Any other tasks or projects assigned by the Director of Corporate Sales and Business Development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in a Key Account Manager or equivalent role, preferably within the luxury retail, FMCG, or gourmet food sectors
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and expanding B2B market presence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Strong capabilities in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and project management
• High level of business acumen, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset, with a commitment to maintaining quality and integrity
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions
