Assistant Manager, Corporate Technology Services

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager, Corporate Technology Services to join the Technology Department, based in our Corporate office located in Central, Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system health and security, as well as supporting Head Office service desk operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement and maintain internal systems & infrastructure for Head Office, including server hardware, virtual machines, Windows servers, and core AD infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and deploy updates to enterprise standard tools such as Endpoint Security, and Office 365 services, on servers and desktop computers using central endpoint management tools.
  • Liaise with service and solutions vendors and system owners, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to internal application platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automation processes related to AD and AAD (mainly with PowerShell) to support the core infrastructure services, e.g. user account life-cycle management, user services provisioning, IT governance and control.
  • Support Head Office service desk operations, including end-user support, and software deployment.
  • Assist to manage the group IT services & infrastructure with the outsourced data centre service partner.

 

General Requirements

  • University degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related disciplines, with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong technical background in enterprise IT systems and infrastructure, including Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Email Security.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools and Microsoft 365 administration for managing computers and mobile devices.
  • Experience in managing internal and public e-certs updates for systems.
  • Knowledge in programming and developing PowerShell scripts to support daily routines.
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including end users.
  • A team player, proactive, customer service oriented, able to multitask and deliver under tight timeline.
  • Good command of written and spoken of English and Chinese (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Relevant IT certifications and knowledge of AI tools (e.g. Copilot) will be an added advantage.
