Vice President, Rewards
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and other high-profile assets) is seeking to hire a Vice President, Rewards who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Company’s total rewards function inclusive of compensation, benefits, equity, and recognition programmes.
- Work for a prestigious, globally renowned hospitality and luxury property group
- Drive Total Rewards at a Group level, supporting Asia, Europe and US operations

Key Accountabilities
- Serve the requirements of Remuneration Committee
- Develop and execute compensation and benefits strategies for Executive Directors and Senior Management for Remcom
- Prepare materials, analysis reports, and summaries for the Group Management Board and Remuneration Committee
- Design and implement Group reward strategies
- Develop and execute compensation and benefits strategies for Executive committees and Dept heads at property level, internationally mobile Executives and Head Office
- Ensure alignment with organisational goals and annual budgets for each business unit
- Manage Group Reward Annual Planning and Processes such as overseeing Group salary reviews, bonus allocations and annual workforce budgets
- Conduct regular salary and benefits benchmarking and surveys in each city/country and ensure it is aligned to the company’s remuneration philosophy
- Evaluate and manage third-party rewards consultants, survey houses, pension, healthcare, and insurance brokers and providers
- Develop and maintain reward policies for salary planning, performance bonuses and other benefits
- Review and ensure the Company's remuneration is market competitive
- Develop cost models, forecast analyses, and plan design recommendations
- Implement and work closely with the Sales teams to launch and ensure the success of the Global Sales Incentive Plan and other revenue generating incentive programmes
- Manage the Rewards team, providing coaching and team development
General requirements
- Degree holder or above Business, Human Resources or related disciplines
- Minimum 15 years experience in Rewards, 5 years leading the function at Group level
- Preference will be afforded to candidates in Hong Kong (Asia experience required)
- Fluent English proficiency and the ability to communicate complexity to board level audience
- Experience in Hospitality, Retail or Property highly desirable
