Senior Manager, Projects

Working alongside a professional team in the Group’s Head Office based in Hong Kong, we are seeking for a Senior Manager, Project to join the Projects Group Department. This role will be responsible for project management of the Group’s properties portfolio projects primarily in Hong Kong, and ensure the Group to maintain full visibility of design, procurement, construction processes and quality of execution.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio project plan, including timelines, milestones and resources allocation.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders, such as Projects Group team, IT and R&T to align project goals and expectations with organisational objectives and priorities.
• Manage, coordinate and be the main liaison with other HSH departments for project briefs, inputs, and approvals.
• Lead the site inspections and external project consultants and contractors to manage time, cost, and quality deliverables.
• Manage project risks and address any issues that may arise with the projects and scope of works, including; change, delay, and conflict.
• A heavy focus on design, construction, works and installations alongside specification adherence, and provide expertise and advise strategies with regards to specialised areas of the project management, including but not limited to Design, Functionality, Installation and Guest Experience.
• Ensure that the specifications with regards to Corporate, Responsibility and Sustainability are adhered to and maximised especially in both design and engineering aspects.

General requirements

• Degree or above in interior design, architecture or construction related fields with a recognised project management qualification
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in complex building developments from design, procurement to construction execution, final inspections and pre-opening processes and procedures particularly in a luxury environment
• Good technical knowledge in architectural, interior, mechanical, electrical and civil works
• Hong Kong-based project experience is preferred
• Well-organized, analytical and procedural
• Effective communication skill with all stakeholders
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
