SAP ABAP Developer, Finance System Solutions

Location:  Hong Kong

Working alongside a professional team in the Group’s Head Office based in Hong Kong, we are seeking SAP ABAP Developer, Finance System Solutions to join the team.  This role will report to the Director, Finance System Solutions and will be responsible for managing project deployment and workflow application support to users.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain SAP Financials (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules with a focus on Finance Reporting 
  • Develop custom reports, interfaces and enhancements using SAP ABAP programming language and SAP reporting tools such as SAP Query, ABAP List Viewer (ALV), and Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Design and develop complex financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, perform testing and debugging of SAP solutions
  • Provide support for SAP Finance solutions, including resolving issues related to finance reporting 
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and design SAP Finance solutions that meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and provide recommendations for future enhancement
  • Support annual system audit process and monitor the integration between business systems with finance systems 
  • Provide daily support to end user for the Finance related solutions, and liaise with suppliers to manage bug fixes 
  • Support Director, Finance System Solutions in other matters relating to the Global Finance System Implementation project as required

 

General requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Accounting
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for SAP HANA
  • At least 5 years’ experience in SAP Finance development, with focus on finance reporting using SAP ABAP programming language and SAP reporting tools
  • Strong skills in SAP ABAP programming language and SAP reporting tools such as SAP Query, ABAP List Viewer (ALV), and Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel VBA programming 
  • Good knowledge in MS Visio, Excel and Powerpoint is a must
  • Strong communication with ability to liaise with different stakeholders
  • Being a team player with can-do attitude. Strong skills in time management, organisation and attention to details
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
