Finance Officer

Business Unit:  Head Office
Location:  Hong Kong

Working alongside a professional team in the Group’s Corporate Head Office, we are seeking for a Finance Officer to join the Finance Department.  This role will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, Finance on managing all accounting routines and preparing financial statements and reports.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Manage accounts payable via Birchstreet (procurement system) and Sun (general ledger system)
  • Establish and maintain creditor ledger and accrual listings
  • Prepare payment journals, process supplier’s invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Issue payment advice to suppliers
  • Monitor bank accounts balances and prepare daily cash flow summary
  • Review and reconcile creditor ledger and accrual and payable accounts
  • Keep track of special payments (e.g. project-related transactions) for internal reporting

   

       General requirements

 

  • Holder of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) level 2 or equivalent
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or book-keeping
  • Good knowledge in basic booking and excellent skills in Excel applications
  • Being a team player and flexible. Enthusiastic to learn and detail-oriented
  • Conversational English
