Assistant Manager - Banquet Service

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking an Assistant Manager- Banquet Service to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in: Greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.
  • Handles customer's inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Establishes and maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Understands and accurately follow the standard of sequence of service, pre-service and after-service procedures.


General Requirements

  • Industrial knowledge including Banquet trend, food, drink etc.
  • Thorough knowledge in costing and pricing of food and beverage items related to banquet sector.
  • Analysis of the outlet daily and monthly reports, detailing and explaining sales variances, costs and profits.
  • Reviews and analyses daily and monthly financial statements, charts prepared by accounting, requisitions and purchase orders, other performance indicators.
