Director of Revenue

Responsibilities

• Maximize the overall hotel revenue and RevPAR positioning through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies.
• Using both internal data, supply analysis and leading economic indicators to forecast business levels across both the short and long term for the hotel 
• Through analysis of demand patterns, ensures that sales strategies, pricing decisions and inventory controls are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate
• Identifying revenue opportunities by room type. Critique on low demand room types (including suites) and monitor on promotions and up-selling performances
• Optimize the use of Revenue Management Systems. Improve forecast accuracy through forecast validations. Utilize and communicate trends/recommendations generated from the system
• Support the marketing and sales teams in determining effective partnerships for the hotel to drive results 
• Monitor, track and Analyse the performance of hotel and corporate programs and promotions to maximize ROI
• Ensure effective pricing strategies are in place to reflect asset strength relative to the competition and specific market conditions
• Monitors pick up trends and review property/room type restrictions base on demand and market situation
• Closely monitor number of contracted wholesale allocations and LRA (Last room availability) accounts, review group block/wash and ceiling to ensure optimal transient/group mix is achieved.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel management courses with hotel operations
• Minimum 4 years in a similar or relevant field
• Good knowledge of computer skills i.e. Opera PMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
