Intern - Brand Marketing and Communications

Business Unit:  Head Office

Working alongside a professional team in the Group’s Corporate Head Office in Hong Kong, we are seeking for a Brand Marketing and Communications Intern to join the Sales & Marketing Department for the summer (3 months). This role supports projects that contribute to the promotion of The Peninsula Hotels’ awareness and reputation worldwide, through the creation of branding materials and provides administrative support for the Brand Marketing & Communications (BMC) team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in marketing projects that support the group partnerships and communications strategy, activities, and implementation
  • Assist in creating on-brand, attractive presentations, memos and other documents to communicate on projects internally and externally
  • Contribute to our projects by creating and tracking project timetables, organising relevant meetings, and generating progress updates
  • Participate in the logistics of photo shoots, PR events, and internal activations
  • Take on short-term projects to be defined with the team e.g., influencer partnership, social media content development, photography review, reporting, etc.
  • Assist the team in their relationships with the respective hotels’ marketing teams
  • Contribute to the team’s creative output in various visual and written branding materials

 

 

General requirements

  • University student in year two or above, major in marketing, communications or related field
  • Previous internship experience in a related filed preferred
  • Native English speaker with promising writing and presentation skills
  • Practical knowledge of Photoshop, AI, InDesign and iMovie would be advantageous
  • Be passionate for luxury hospitality
  • Great sense of organisation and attention to details
  • Be creative and a good team player
  • Adaptive and flexible to work across multiple time zones
